It feels magical inside! Awesome atmosphere & the drinks are lovely. I only had dessert here which was amazing.
Very busy at the bar so I found it a good idea to get two drinks at a time 😜 friendly & helpful staff & there was live music the night I went in & they sounded fantastic. Definitely recommended & will go back again

Whilst I live in another county, I visited as part of our work Christmas party. From the second you walk in, the venue is beautifully decorated, and the food was incredible, the staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us.

Came in just as the kitchen was closing, fcaja was a massive help and very friendly. She helped us pick items and recommend the hot loaf with butter.. oh, my days, it was beautiful. Fcaja is an exceptionally good worker, very professional, and a credit to your company.

We had a wonderful Christmas get together at The Botanist, Coventry. Great fun music and yummy food, eyes were too big for my belly though! Our waiter, Leon was amazing, very happy, joyful and had a constant smile on his face :D

A Disastrous Experience at The Botanist
I visited The Botanist yesterday with friends for a Christmas meal out, and I can confidently say I won’t be returning. The entire experience was appalling, from the poor service to the overpriced and underwhelming food.
To start, the price of the three-course meal was £37.95 – and that didn’t even include drinks. As someone who required the vegan option, my choices were extremely limited. For the starter, I was given a basic hummus with some bread, which was far from satisfying or festive. The main course, a festive pie with vegetables, was equally disappointing. The carrots were practically raw, as if they had just been sliced and thrown on the plate. It’s shocking that a restaurant would serve vegetables so poorly prepared.
I wouldn’t mind paying a high price if the food was decent, but this was far from acceptable. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was the only saving grace of the meal. However, even that couldn’t make up for the shoddy service. We had to go up to the bar to get our drinks, and everyone was waiting around 15 minutes just to be served. There was an obvious shortage of staff, and no side plates were provided for the starters.
To make matters worse, the bridge inside the restaurant is extremely dangerous. My friend fell over, hit her face, and was bleeding. Although staff brought ice and water, that was the extent of their help. Shockingly, no accident forms were filled out. I’m not sure if this is standard policy, but the lack of care and attention was appalling.
For the exorbitant price, the experience was unacceptable. The lack of quality in the food, combined with the abysmal service, left me disgusted. I strongly advise against visiting The Botanist. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about its customers.

Very expensive for the quality and quantity of food. We've been before and weren't impressed by the small portions of the hanginh kebabs but liked the pub. Had a 'Botanist Burger' this time; it wasn't horrible but it was kids meal size small burger with a bit of tomato, onion and lettuce and a small handful of chips-for £17.
There are much better choices in Coventry.

We came today for my birthday for food and cocktails had table service by a lovely girl called Freya she served us all day smiled was so helpful we will be back there if she is working

I absolutely adore the place the decor the design, it's very cosy. We were a large group, just under 20 people. we had the Christmas menu, and most of us weren't impressed by the flavours ; starter main or dessert, unfortunately :(. I had the seabass, I'm slim, and I could have had 3 of those seabass.... I was hungry after we left... I think this place is great for drinks and a social but the food let it down....
There was live music that night a couple of people on the table complained the music was too loud. They were a great band playing but the volume were a tad loud... people wanted to leave because of the noise level...... lastly, the air con machine was dripping on one of the lady's head.... we were assured the water was clean. However, seating under a leak at dinner isn't ideal..... we were located upstairs to the left once at the top of the stairs.
